Our Story

We crossed paths countless times before we actually met. We attended the same high school, shared a few of the same classes, we had mutual friends — we were even both in our high school musical! I was an actress, and Darius played in the orchestra.

Finally, we became friends in our senior year. Then, covid hit, and the year was cut short. For a while, we didn’t keep in touch. After graduation, we both happened to move to Pittsburgh.

In our sophomore year of college, we attended a Latin Student Formal. Darius was assigned to the seat right across from me, and I recognized him instantly. Ever since that night, we’ve been best friends.

Four years later, on our second anniversary, Darius proposed at a botanic garden — and the next chapter of our story began.
